At this special event, held at the New Hotel in Athens, RDG unveiled two innovative tools designed to empower and support the Rare Disease community:

• “Guide to Access to Treatments and Orphan Drugs for Rare Diseases”
• “Guide to Rights and Social Benefits of Individuals Living with Rare Diseases”

These comprehensive guides mark a significant milestone for Greece’s Rare Disease community, providing essential information and resources to patients and caregivers while promoting equitable access to treatments and support services.

ARDIUS Pharma dedicated exclusively to supporting Rare Disease patients, continues to collaborate with key stakeholders to address unmet needs, advocate for patient rights, and improve healthcare pathways for those affected by these conditions.

About the RARE DISEASES GREECE (RDG):

The RARE DISEASES GREECE (RDG) is the largest and most powerful representative body of Rare Diseases in the country, incorporating 31 Associations, Unions and Civil Non-Profit Societies (A.M.K.E.). It represents 3.5-5.9% of the population in Greece (350,000 to 600,000 people) and stands by every Rare Disease Patient with the power of collectivity and solidarity.

The Association actively participates in Committees and Working Groups of the Ministry of Health and represents Greece at the international level. It is a member of the European Organization for Rare Diseases (EURORDIS), the Council of National Associations of Europe (CNA) and Rare Disease International, while organizing the “World Rare Disease Day / Rare Disease Day Greece” in Greece.
